Bellemara specialises in breeding these lovely little horses and the stud currently comprises of approx 35 miniature horses.  

Our aim is to breed quality, refined miniature horses with great temperaments and in a range of great colours.  Quality comes first, great colouring is the "icing on the cake".  We're also proud of the outstanding pedigrees and world famous bloodlines behind our horses e.g. Bond Snippett, Buckeroo, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, Scott Creek Monarch Magic (NZ's Super Sire).   Several of our horses are AMHA registered, but as always quality comes first, AMHA registration is a bonus.

We also enjoy showing our horses, our major awards include many Supremes, Nationwide Overall Horse of the Year, Nationwide Sire of the Year titles, and many National and NZ hi-point awards/titles. Visit our show results page to see more.
